Educational Requirements:
∎ 3-years Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication) degree from any public polytechnic institute with minimum second class or CGPA not less than 2.5 in the scale of 4.0

∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ During Project Implementation:
∎ To help Management in conduction site survey including selection of suitable land for Beach Manhole (BMH) & Cable Landing Station (CLS), duct route planning and survey between BMH and CLS
∎ To accompany and guide the contractor's technical personnel during site survey in Bangladesh
∎ To supervise the construction/installation works of AC and DC power system, Fire protection system, Electronic security system of the CLS(s) and report to Management
∎ To supervise the land cable (optic & power) laying and installation work from BMH to CLS, preparing report and submission of the same to the Management
∎ To supervise and monitor the Grounding system installation works at the BMH and CLS and test the same after completion
∎ To participate in conducting the Acceptance Test of the submarine cable system(s) at the CLS(s) of the company
∎ To supervise and monitor the data/internet/telecommunication system at the head office and take corrective action when necessary
∎ To coordinate and supervise the remote monitoring system set up work at the Head office of the company to monitor the activities in the CLS(s) including extension of NOC terminal at the Head office
∎ To assist the Management of the company in all kinds of technical works
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Management time to time
∎ During Business Operation:
∎ To supervise and Manage the 24/7 CLS(s) monitoring work of the CLS(s) from Head office
∎ To coordinate between the Management of the company and the technical personnel of the CLS(s)
∎ To advise, plan and conduct any corrective maintenance work required for any optical network system and power system of the company, both at head office and the CLS(s)
∎ To supervise and manage the O&M of the co-location center of the company in Dhaka
∎ To advise and assist the Management conducting any technical work related to optic communication and power system or any other technical matters
∎ To preserve all the technical documents of the company related submarine cable system and any other communication system, if owned by the company
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Management time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least 12 years of experience with any Telecom operator
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Optic Fiber communication, Power system (AC & DC) of Telecom industry, Operation of different Test and Measuring related to telecom transmission and power system
