Responsibilities & Context:

Job Overview:

Sajeeb Group, a reputed group of companies in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Land Acquisition. The role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring land for business expansion while ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Land Identification & Acquisition:

Identify suitable land based on business/project requirements

Conduct market surveys and feasibility analysis of land opportunities

Negotiate with landowners, brokers, and stakeholders for acquisition

Due Diligence & Verification:

Perform title verification, ownership validation, and land history checks

Ensure proper due diligence including Khatian, Dag, Mouza, and other land records

Assess legal risks and coordinate with legal team for clearance

Documentation & Process Management:

Manage land purchase documentation, agreements, and registration process

Coordinate mutation and other post-purchase formalities

Maintain proper records of all acquisition-related documents

Regulatory & Liaison:

Liaise with government offices (AC Land, Sub-Registry Office, local authorities)

Ensure compliance with land laws, regulations, and company policies

Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and permits

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with Legal, Accounts, and Project teams

Prepare reports on acquisition status, costs, and risks

Update management on progress and challenges
