Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology
∎ B. Sc Engineering in Textile / Diploma Engineering in Textile Technology

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric development, Fabric Sourcing, Fabrics Inspection, Fabrics Printing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and support the group's fabric sourcing strategies that support company production placement.
∎ Responsible for managing the development, sourcing, capacity, analysis seasonally for fabrics.
∎ This person provides technical expertise at the fabric development at all stages of the product pipeline and should have the working knowledge of fabric testing
∎ Handling of daily communication and perform cross-functional design, merchandising and production teams and quality as well
∎ Manage factories/mills, agent relationships and negotiate cost seasonally.
∎ Understanding and ensure quality of the Fabrics.
∎ Secure bulk material (fabric & Yarn) quality and quantity as per standard & Requirements
∎ Participate "Fabric Risk Assessment" with sample and chemical responsible
∎ Match counter sample with approved Fabric hanger and required specifications.
∎ Must keep close monitor on Lab Dip development and approval to get accurate color/shade at sample & bulk.
∎ Check sample fabric color/shade aesthetic quality and physical (test) performance along with sample and production responsible.
∎ Manage development calendar, manage necessary tools, and ensure direct reports completion as per deadlines.
∎ Perform regular analysis, research and development for trendy fabrics variation and sourcing.
∎ Hands on knowledge for all kinds of Fabrics like woven, knit, denims.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong Skills in determining Quality of the Fabric (Woven, Knit & Denims)
∎ Relevant degree in Product Development, Textiles or equivalent preferred: minimum 6-7 years in the technical fabric field.
∎ Overseas fabric sourcing and negotiating experience required.
∎ Expert regarding fabric construction/ production, printing, dyeing techniques, testing, wash.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Good Computer literacy
∎ Ability to influence, communicate and present to all levels of the organization: credible aesthetically and technically to all cross-functional partners as well as to cross-functional leaders.
∎ Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Salary: Negotiable
