Hands on technical knowledge in the sample room or buying houses.
Strong knowledge of Garments construction, Measurements and Quality Process.
Ability to work independently and make decisions on all technical issues related to the sample process and fittings.
Technically sound with pattern making skill specially in WOVEN, KNIT and WOMENS WARES.
Responsibilities & Context:
LUBNAN Trade Consortium Limited (LTCL) is a Leading Fashion and Lifestyle Brand Products Manufacturing and Retail Sales Organization in Bangladesh with the Brands of Infinity, Richman, Lubnan and Oxygen fashions. Richman Apparels factory is a concern of LTCL and it is urgently looking for deserving candidates for the position of Sr. Technical Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Have the enough knowledge on garments fittings and measurement issues and produce / update the measurement sheets by collaborating with design and merchandising team.
Handle garment sample approvals in all stages before bulk production, including proto, size set, PPS samples.
Provide technical support throughout the sample process, from technical sketch to final approval of the PP sample.
Evaluate samples by reviewing construction, measurements and workmanship and patterns to achieve the best quality and fittings in final products.
Make fitting reviews using dummy models, take defect photos and prepare comments during sample stages before start bulk production.
Prepare detailed technical comments and review the potential points in advance to guide suppliers / vendors /factories for smooth production.
Approve grading patterns of Garments for all print/Embroidery and ensure the products color matching issues with trims and accessories.
Collaborate with Design teams / merchandising teams and suppliers/factories to address and resolve all technical issues of products.
Visit factory to check the current production in collaboration with the QA and Merchandising team, once required.
Performing any other jobs as and when assigned by the management.
