Additional RequirementsStrong understanding of technical specifications, user manuals, catalogues and engineering drawings.Ability to read and understand electrical/electronic circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.Good command of written and spoken English for technical communication.Ability to communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, engineers and government/project officials.Willingness to travel to project sites anywhere in Bangladesh.Strong interpersonal, coordination, reporting and team-management skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle technical activities related to Polytechnic, Technical Training Centre (TTC), Vocational Training Institute, Technical School & College (TSC) and similar educational institutions.

• Must have practical experience with various types of laboratory equipment, technical training equipment and vocational training systems used in Polytechnic, TTC and Vocational Institutes.

• Must have hands-on experience with different types of Trainer Boards / Training Systems, including Electrical, Electronics, PLC, Automation, Industrial Control, Mechatronics, Pneumatic & Hydraulic, Motor Control and other technical training equipment.

• Perform installation, commissioning, testing, demonstration, troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory and training equipment.

• Conduct equipment demonstrations and provide technical training to teachers, instructors, technicians and students at customer premises.

• Visit project sites for site inspection, installation planning, measurement and technical assessment.

• Diagnose technical problems and provide appropriate solutions for laboratory and training equipment.

• Coordinate with international manufacturers/suppliers regarding technical specifications, product customization, drawings, catalogues, manuals and troubleshooting.

• Review technical specifications, BOQ, compliance statements, datasheets and catalogues for tender/project requirements.

• Prepare technical documents including technical offers, compliance sheets, installation reports, commissioning reports, service reports and training reports.

• Coordinate with the Commercial, Tender & Documentation and Sales teams for technical requirements related to government and private sector projects.

• Provide technical support during tender preparation, product selection, quotation evaluation and project execution.

• Supervise Engineers, Technicians and other technical personnel during installation and commissioning activities.

• Ensure proper installation and commissioning of equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and project specifications.

• Maintain proper records of equipment installation, service, maintenance, warranty and customer support.

• Travel to different locations within Bangladesh as required for project implementation, installation, training and after-sales service.
