∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Management
∎ Master's in Accounting/Finance/Management or any other relevant discipline from a recognized institution.

∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ The candidate should have good knowledge on accounting practice, Income Tax, VAT and custom rules of Bangladesh.
∎ Should have independent capacity to face different audits from Donor as well as Internal and External sources.
∎ Should be honest, sincere and have good team spirit and capacity to work under pressure
∎ Efficient computer literacy (especially MS Office applications and graphics design applications)
∎ Strong ability to work with the team
∎ Strong ability in problem-solving and decision-making.
∎ Skills in documentation, facilitation & reporting.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Assistant Manager, Accounts is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the organization's financial and administrative operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and administrative procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the role will involve managing administrative tasks, such as procurement, human resources, and office management.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, cash book, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
∎ Prepare and analyze financial statements, including monthly and annual reports, for internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Manage cash flow and ensure timely disbursements of funds.
∎ Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and conduct variance analysis.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including VAT, TDS, and other statutory deductions.
∎ Operate and maintain Tally ERP 9/Prime accounting software.
∎ Assist with external audits and internal financial reviews.
∎ Responsible for preparing all NGOAB related documents and reporting, such as FD-6, FD-2, etc.
