• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Experience guiding engineers and managing task assignments.

• Understanding of operational procedures, security policies, and engineering standards.

• Ability to balance operational workload with project deliverables.

• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Capacity to learn new platform technologies quickly.

• Maintain operational stability and daily administration of assigned data platform components.

• Assign and monitor engineers’ tasks to ensure timely completion of operations and projects.

• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents; perform L1/L2 investigation and RCA.

• Address critical production issues impacting system availability.

• Lead technical workstreams and ensure project deliverables meet standards.

• Follow security procedures, compliance guidelines, and operational checklists.

• Engage with internal teams (Data Engineering, SE, RE, IT Governance or PPM) for troubleshooting and delivery.

• Collaborate with external support from Cloudera, ScyllaDB, MongoDB, Oracle, DataStax, Elasticsearch, etc.

• Ensure 24x7 functional support and 99.99% uptime commitment.
