Responsibilities & Context:

An Export Oriented Group of Companies is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Assistant General Manager/ Deputy General Manager – Supply Chain to lead and strengthen the overall Supply Chain operations of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Supply Chain operations including Procurement, Material Management, ERP, and SCM activities.

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies for business growth and cost reduction.

  • Ensure smooth coordination among internal departments and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze business processes and establish sustainable operational solutions.

  • Monitor procurement activities and control costs through centralized procurement systems.

  • Improve supply chain visibility and communication through technology integration.

  • Establish and maintain ERP systems as per management requirements.

  • Lead, guide, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and competency.

  • Conduct performance assessments and identify competency gaps within the team.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, sustainability, and workplace safety standards.

  • Prepare and submit regular operational and management reports.

  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and eliminate non-value-added activities.
