  • M.Com/MBA/MBS in Accounting, Finance, Management from any recognized University. CA/CA-CC is mandatory.

  • Other Subsequent Qualification-At least 2nd class/division in all academic exams.

  • Total 10 years of experience in Coordinator (Audit)/Audit Manager Position in internal or external auditing, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
  • 05 years of working experience in microfinance sector auditing is preferable.
  • Computer skills on Microsoft office applications are mandatory.
  • Hands on experience in software Microfinance management and operation.
  • Spoken and writing skills both in English and Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Assistant General Manager for Internal Audit Department. The purpose of the job is to ensure mitigating the risk of the organization at minimum level and ensuring the internal control of the organization work activities effectivelyand efficiently. The personnel are required to successfully carry out the Audit related functions. This position requires knowledge of internal auditing; audit tools techniques, checklist, methodologies, monitoring skills and serving attitudes to work under Audit Department.

Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

  • Assist in developing the annual audit plan based on risk assessments and organizational priorities.

  • Plan and execute audit engagements, including defining audit scope, objectives, and procedures.

  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk and control weaknesses.

  • Perform detailed testing of financial and operational processes to evaluate control effectiveness.

  • Document audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations in audit work papers.

Team Leadership and Supervision:

  • Lead and supervise audit teams during audit engagements.

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to audit staff.

  • Review audit work papers to ensure quality and completeness.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present audit reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to relevant CEO of DFED/Treasurer of DFED.

  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.

  • Maintain effective communication with audits and management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organization policies.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes.

  • Identify and assess emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in auditing and risk management.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance internal controls and operational effectiveness.

  • Participate in special projects and investigations as required.

Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas of concern.

  • Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.



Job Other Benifits:
    • Grade-11, Gross Salary including [Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund, Other Fund, Mobile Bill and Insurance] Tk. 88,230/- per month.

    • Daily lunch allowance 200/- taka.
