Educational Requirements:
∎ M.Com with 2 years experience or B. Com with 3 years practical experience in financial management in a donor funded project.
Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) invites applications for the following positions of SHOUHARDO III Plus Program , in partnership with CARE Bangladesh and funding support of USAID. The goal of the project is to "Improve gender equitable food security, nutrition and resilience of vulnerable people living in the char and haor in Bangladesh by 2024. DAM will implement the SHOUHARDO III plus program in Sunamganj ( Taherpur & Dowarabazar Upazillas) and Hobiganj ( Baniachong & Ajmiriganj Upazillas) district supported by CARE Bangladesh from November 2022 to July 2024.
∎ Assistant Finance Officer (SHOIII Plus)
∎ Employment Status: Contractual Initial contract up to July 31, 2024
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain Books of Records (Cash Book, GL etc), Petty cash, and preparing payment vouchers. Banking.
∎ Assist to Finance Officer for preparing budget and financial reports.
∎ Maintain program advances status and timely adjustments.
∎ Assist to comply issues to the staffs Liaison with finance department CARE and own organization.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/ management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skill in voucher preparation, financial data maintaining, store management, Banking, GAAP, VAT, Tax etc.
∎ Assist work of Finance Officer for payment, budget preparation, Cash/advance management Good knowledge on Gender , Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse(PSEA) & Safe Guarding policy
∎ Good knowledge on Gender , Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse(PSEA) & Safe Guarding policy
∎ Good administrative and financial management skills, ability to work in a team, Good interpersonal skill.
∎ Computer software skill (MS-Word, Excel and e-mail communication).
