• Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment

• Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD) for creating and interpreting mechanical drawings

• Understanding of safety protocols and industry standards

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

The Assistant Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment in the plant. The position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment performance to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems and machinery

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and logs

• Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during maintenance activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality, to address equipment issues
