Major Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical systems, including HVAC, generators, elevators, and other university infrastructure.
System Installation: Assist in the installation of new electro-mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
Inspection & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
Energy Management: Monitor and optimize the energy consumption of university facilities, ensuring efficient operation of electro-mechanical systems.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electro-mechanical systems comply with safety regulations and standards, conducting risk assessments as needed.
Coordination with Contractors: Work closely with external contractors and vendors for the installation, repair, or upgrade of electro-mechanical systems.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities, and provide regular reports to supervisors.
Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency situations involving electro-mechanical systems, providing prompt and effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in electro-mechanical systems to recommend improvements and upgrades.
