Oversee the operation, maintenance, and servicing of all electrical systems, including transformers, generators, switchgear, motors, and other related equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted operations, while supervising and guiding Electricians, Foremen, and technical staff to complete tasks on time and in full compliance with safety standards.
Ensure all electrical backup systems—such as generators and UPS—remain fully functional through regular testing and scheduled maintenance activities.
Coordinate with DPDC regarding power supply, load management, meter readings, and conduct routine site inspections to verify the quality, compliance, and safety of electrical installations and works.
Prepare technical specifications, support the procurement process for electrical spare parts, tools, and equipment, and ensure adequate availability of essential spares.
Perform shift duties and oversee the operation and maintenance of the 25MVA substation and diesel generator systems.
Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, test results, system performance logs, and carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by Senior Engineers or the Head of Department.
