Valid member of Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
Additional qualification in project management is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in maintaining multi-story buildings (preferred).

Technical Skill:
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
Language Skill:
Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Major Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision: Oversee ongoing construction projects on campus, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Project Planning: Assist in preparing detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates for construction and maintenance projects.
Maintenance: Supervise the maintenance and repair of university infrastructure, including buildings, internal pathways, drainage systems, and utilities.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the timely procurement of materials and adherence to contracts.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all civil engineering projects comply with local, national, and international building codes and safety regulations.
Memo/Note/Report Writing: Write Memos/Notes/Report for getting approval from University authority.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, blueprints, and technical documentation for all civil works undertaken by the University.
Budget Management: Monitor project costs to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Emergency Response: Available and responsive for day or night shifts to address emergency situations or urgent civil engineering issues as required, ensuring swift and effective resolution to minimize operational disruption.
