• Department Management: Plan, coordinate, roster preparation, leave management of biomedical department. ·     
• Medical Equipment Management: Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical devices and equipment, ensuring they function correctly and safely. Adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment. ·     
• Installation: Planning & follow up pre-installation requirements for biomedical machines. ·      
• Vendor Management: Maintain effective communication with vendors for scheduled and unscheduled servicing of Biomedical Machines and Equipments. Authorize & follow up requirements parts for biomedical machines & preventive maintenance.·      
• Clinical Support: Providing technical support to healthcare professionals in using medical equipment, troubleshooting issues, and training staff on new technologies. Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical & room environments.·      
• Research and Development: Collaborating on research projects to develop new biomedical technologies or improve existing ones, often working with medical staff to identify needs. Work with Technologist, chemists, and medical person to research the engineering aspects of biological systems of humans.·      
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all medical equipment complies with health regulations and standards, including safety and efficacy requirements. Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to Supplier, the manufacture principal, government, and other external sources.·      
• Quality Assurance: Conducting regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure reliability and safety, and implementing quality control measures. Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.·      
• Patient Safety Initiatives: Participating in initiatives to enhance patient safety, including developing protocols for the use of biomedical equipment.·      
• User safety Initiatives: Ensure users are maintaining safety protocol properly and continuously.·      
• Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to medical devices and technologies, helping to improve patient care and operational efficiency. Record keeping of daily service reports, under service report & breakdown register.·      
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Working with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to understand their needs and develop solutions that enhance patient care. Provide information & communication with other departments for biomedical machines functionality.·      
• Budgeting and Procurement: Assisting in budgeting for new equipment purchases and managing inventory of biomedical devices. Determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.·      
• Education and Training: Conducting training sessions for staff on new technologies and best practices in equipment use. Train end user and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
