Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in new product development, preferably in a manufacturing or consumer durable industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct thorough local and international market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new product opportunities.
Visit markets, exhibitions, and manufacturing facilities to benchmark products and identify potential suppliers or technology partners.
Analyze customer needs, market data, and industry insights to prepare comprehensive market intelligence reports for management decision-making.
Collaborate with Operations, R&D, and Sourcing teams to ensure the smooth development and successful launch of new products.
Support product feasibility studies, cost analysis, and business case development for new initiatives.
Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend continuous improvements based on market feedback and data analysis.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other industry stakeholders to enhance innovation and sourcing capabilities.
Stay abreast of new technologies, materials, regulations, and quality standards relevant to the company’s product lines.
