Additional Requirements:

  • Strong ability to conduct professional international communication in English through phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms.

  • Flexible to work and respond during international business hours as required for effective coordination with overseas stakeholders.

  • Sound knowledge of import landed cost calculation, including freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes, port charges, C&F charges, transportation, and other related costs.

  • Good understanding of HS Codes and their application in import documentation and customs procedures.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented



Responsibilities & Context:

Purpose of the Job:

To manage and execute import-related commercial activities for all concerns of Doreen Group, including L/C operations, shipment and shipping documentation, customs clearance, banking, supplier coordination, landed cost calculation, and liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective import operations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage, execute and monitor L/C-related activities, including vendor correspondence, L/C opening/amendment, document verification, and banking formalities.

  • Ensure proper understanding and application of HS Codes, customs duties, taxes, and other import charges.

  • Coordinate with banks, suppliers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, C&F agents, transport companies, ports, and relevant authorities for smooth import operations.

  • Prepare and analyze import landed cost by accurately calculating product cost, freight, insurance, customs duties, taxes, port charges, C&F charges, transportation, and other related expenses.

  • Collect, verify, and process import documents and bills, and liaise with Finance & Accounts.

  • Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers, vendors, C&F agents, freight forwarders, and other service providers to ensure competitive costs and favorable terms.

  • Monitor shipments, documentation, payments, and clearance status; maintain proper records and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective import operations.
