Responsibilities & Context:
Assist chemists and laboratory analysts in sample preparation, chemical analysis, and routine laboratory testing.
Perform analytical testing following approved SOPs, test methods, and safety guidelines.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments under supervision such as UV-Vis, GC, HPLC, pH meter, balance, and titration equipment.
Record, organize, and maintain accurate laboratory data, test observations, and reports.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals, reagents, and test samples.
Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards inside the laboratory area.
Follow laboratory quality control procedures and use prescribed PPE at all times.
Support calibration, verification, and routine maintenance activities of laboratory equipment.
Report any abnormal test results, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Coordinate with senior chemists and team members to complete testing within turnaround time (TAT).
Assist in preparation of reagents, standards, and laboratory documentation.
Learn and comply with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory practices and quality requirements.
