Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare quality certificates and monthly activity reports and these are submit to Supervisor (Lab & QC)
∎ Maintain safety laws & regulations and effective supervision to ensure proper consumption of all laboratory chemical, equipment, apparatus etc.
∎ To ensure the quality of Cement-Production meet to the ASTM, EN (BSTI), & BIS Standard.
∎ To perform chemical analysis and physical test of cement as well as all raw materials as per ASTM/BDSEN/BS &BIS Standard.
∎ To perform of preparing all documents to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
∎ To ensure correct & timely samples of cement from the Mills & Packing Plants and Raw Materials of Cement from the conveyor belt of jetty / Truck whenever Completion of discharge and all the test results are recorded in the report sheets, these are filled in the Laboratory archive.
∎ To specify the percentage of additives to be mixed keeping the quality of cement as own cement standard.
∎ Comparable presentations of test report between own brand and other brands.
∎ To ensure proper Gypsum & Additives flow on feed belt (weigh feeder) so that Mill never runs without Gypsum and do adjustment/calibration the weigh feeder if required for ascertaining right percentage of additives.
∎ To ensure that Compressive strength Mould and Cubes are making regularly & these are crushing timely to get the correct value.
∎ To ensure the more accuracy by Calibrations of all equipment's in Laboratory.
∎ Prepare Lab mini ball mill sample for getting better result & cost analysis.
∎ To ensure the best quality of cement bag (both paper & polypropylene sacks) and to submit report.
∎ OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Chemical analysis of all incoming raw materials and finished products.
∎ Maintain test produce records as per BDS EN 197-1-2003, ASTM & IS standards.
∎ Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) of ISO 9001:2015.
∎ Ensure proper documentation.
∎ Create a quality culture in the department as well as in the factory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have at least 02 years of relevant experiences in cement manufacturing company.
∎ Having sound knowledge on physical and chemical test for raw materials of cement.
