Job Context:
∎ The Area Sales Manager (Dhaka, Khulna, Chittagong, Mymensingh, Bogura) guides and supports 5-7 Territory Managers to achieve sales targets. They drive key KPIs, monitor financial performance, develop sales strategies, maintain strong relationships, explore new opportunities, and drive innovation for maximum profits.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise overall activities of 5-7 Territory Managers within the area, providing direction and support as needed to ensure Sales targets, KPIs, and Profitability goals are achieved
∎ Allocate 90% of the work schedule for field visits and 10% for administrative tasks
∎ Develop and implement sales strategies and plans that support the overall objectives of the organization
∎ Monitor and manage budgets, costs and expenses in line with the overall budget of the area
∎ Ensure that each Territory Manager has a clear understanding of their goals and objectives and that they are equipped with the necessary resources to achieve them
∎ Provide coaching to the Territory Managers to enable them to perform effectively
∎ Ensure that all Territory Managers adhere to company policies and procedures and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with anchors and ensure timely and proper claim settlements, ROI adjustments and business planning
∎ Ensure that all reporting requirements are met, and that accurate and timely reports are provided to the Head Office team
∎ Provide world-class service to key stakeholders, including anchors, customers, and internal teams
∎ Explore new acquisitions for the development of business and improvement of business operations within the geographic boundary of the Area
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the area
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the leadership team
