Experience:

The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for overseeing a defined portfolio of Distribution Businesses (DBs) and ensuring smooth, complaint, and profitable day-to-day operations. Distribution Managers report directly to the OM, and the role serves as a critical bridge between DB-level execution and central management.
The core accountability of this role is the safeguarding of company assets, including working capital, inventory, and cash, while driving disciplined sales execution, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. The OM is expected to ensure a justified Return on Investment (ROI), with a benchmark target of 18-20% or higher.
Oversee daily sales performance across assigned DBs to ensure target achievement.
Manage end-to-end operations, including product outward, sales entry, and reconciliation.
Ensure strict SLA adherence, particularly for on-time deposits, product movements, and system updates.
Protect and manage working capital, inventory, and cash with zero tolerance for leakage.
Ensure disciplined cash-flow management and accurate financial reconciliation.
Monitor and ensure ROI assurance, maintaining a minimum return of 18-20% on deployed capital.
Supervise accurate and timely usage of the company DMS system.
Ensure all transactions and movements are properly recorded and auditable.
Enforce compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.
Act as the primary operational point of contact for anchor partners.
Ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and service alignment with anchors.
Lead and manage DBMs and DSOs, ensuring clear accountability & governance.
Support right hiring, onboarding, and performance management in coordination with HR.
Drive continuous training, coaching, and capability development for field teams.
Conduct on-demand field visits as required, including but not limited to:
HOTO (Hand Over / Take Over) of DBs
Audit support and compliance verification
New DB house opening
DB house closure execution
Resolution of critical operational, financial, or people-related issues
Ensure all field activities are properly documented and aligned with company policy.
Proactively identify operational, financial, and compliance risks.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid loss, fraud, or service disruption.
Uphold ethical standards and enforce zero tolerance for policy violations.
