Role Overview
The Executive - Internal Audit is responsible for supporting the internal audit function by executing audit assignments, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on identifying risks, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening governance frameworks through systematic audits and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Review processes, systems, and transactions to identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare clear and accurate audit working papers and draft audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Support risk assessment activities and contribute to the development of risk-based audit plans.
• Coordinate with different departments to obtain audit evidence and clarify audit issues.
• Assist in special reviews, investigations, and management requests as assigned.
