  • Must have Masters from any recognized University in Economics, Statistics, Agriculture is preferable. (3rd division/ class or below CGPA is not acceptable.)

  • At least 5 years` experience in a national or international organization where at least 2 years in an equivalent position. Need to have experience in operations management in the rural areas.

  • Have knowledge on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and practical skills in implementing interventions related to adaptation and mitigation.

  • Clear understanding on resilience framework.

  • Have knowledge on current national and global development trends related to women empowerment, Community Based Organization (CBO) and social mobilization, right based approach, gender, good governance, access to information; SDG`s, communication tools, qualitative and quantitative research tools.

  • Have skills on leadership and people management; strategic thinking; decision making and problem solving; power analysis, demonstrates good oral and written communication skills and documentation.

  • Have practical experience to work with value chain of various subsectors.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale and complex projects, and achieve outcomes and financial targets, including experience in design, Participatory monitoring and evaluation of development projects.

  • Have to be creative; result oriented; integrity; flexibility; decisiveness; adaptability; teamwork; self-motivated



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP) is an ongoing Program (CPRP) of CCDB. This program will work with more than 50 thousand beneficiaries for their empowerment and sustainable development. The program will support organizational development, gender equality and empowerment, sustainable livelihood and food security and markets, adaption, and mitigation measures. This program covers 15 districts in Bangladesh. This program will continue up to June 2027.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all programmatic targets are achieved according to annual plan.

  • Manage, plan and coordinate of all interventions at field level.

  • Maintain coordination between head office and field through regular communications and engaging both the field and head office staffs.

  • Take initiatives for staff capacity development through effective training / workshops.

  • Support Management in decision making by providing consolidated reports on time regarding all areas of field operations and staff related activities.

  • Provide support and guidance to Knowledge Management, M&E and Programme Development Unit and Technical Support unit for successful implementation of new initiatives and pilots as well as for improving programme / project implementation towards achieving higher development outcomes.

  • Maintain strong communication with Local government and other relevant stakeholders to ensure their engagement in social accountability initiatives in working area.

  • Knowledge on programme/project cycle management and development.

  • Maintain documentation and prepare monthly, quarterly and half yearly and annual report.

  • Organize training, workshops and different events at the field level according to annual targets.

  • Organize and manage regular team meetings with field staffs, informal catch up meetings and external meetings as necessary and to ensure meeting notes and action points are distributed to deadline.

  • Identify, plan and organize capacity development trainings/workshops of the Program Officer, Accountant cum Admin Assistant, Accounts Officer, Trainer, Community Organizers and volunteers.
