Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Master of Social Science (MSS)

• Masters in Social Sciences or relevant subjects from a reputed university.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age 35 to 45 years

• Sound kknowledge on field management, human rights, gender, women empowerment, diversity, gender and identity-based violence, discriminatory social norms, non-violence etc.

• Knowledge on target group selection from marginalised communities and formation of CSO, CS Alliance, student forum, theatre groups etc.

• Able to Develop Staff capacity Building.

• Knowledge on context analysis, data analysis, MIS and evaluation process

• Must have efficiency in supervision and Monitoring of field staff, facilitation of meetings.

• Good analytical skill and ability to work under pressure.

• Able to prepare quantitative and qualitative reports.

• At least 5 years’ working experience projects on field management, GBV responses, human rights, women empowerment etc. along with experiences on advocacy.

• Able to organize, manage and facilitate human rights and governance related meeting, seminar and workshop in different level of participants.

• Computer literacy on MS Word, Excel, Power point and more .

• Able to drive motor cycle with valid driving license and frequent field visit.

Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB), a non-government Organization is looking for a dynamic Area Coordinator for the project “Strengthening the human rights and social participation of marginalised groups in Bangladesh with specific focus on women and girls (short: HOPE)” funded by the BMZ and NETZ-Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support in effective project management, support capacity building, on-job coaching and mentoring to the project team.

• Promote women and girls’ rights from local to regional level.

• Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual plan.

• Organize and facilitate local and regional meeting, workshops and seminar and all other public events

• Ensure gender friendly environment at all level

• Organize, manage and facilitate all trainings designed under the project at field level of the project area..

• Ensure proper formation and capacity building of different groups at schools and community at Union, Upazila and District level.

• Must have efficiency in supervision of field staff, facilitation of meetings.

• support for preparation of qualitative and quantitative reports.

• Organize and support all public events and prepare reports.

• Organize meeting and dialogue with relevant stakeholders.

• Establish and continue formal and informal linkage/network with community, local authorities, government officials, local leaders and other organizations.
