Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Post Graduate Degree in Development Studies, Social Science or any other relevant discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing frequent field operations in-coordination with IWRM project management based on the direction of project document.
∎ Supervise and guide the Community Mobilizers and manage the finances related to program operation at UP, Pourashava and Community level.
∎ Maintain proper communication and coordination with Union IWRM committee, Upzila IWRM committee, Pourashavas and concerned GoB line agencies and local administration/other stakeholders to provide necessary support as required.
∎ Assist LGIs in developing and practicing water schemes based on Bangladesh Water Rules 2018 and guidelines for planning approval, no objection certificates and licenses.
∎ Support UPs and Pourashavas in financial incentives and rewards system in promotion of the “4R”s – reduce over-abstraction and pollution; reuse water; recycle water; and restore: water safety – will go to the users.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position in reputed organisation(s) on water and sanitation project and programme management including M&E & budgeting;
∎ Educational qualification may be relaxed for person with experience working on water and sanitation with Local Government Institutions more than 5 years;
∎ Working experience with Local Government Institutions will be preferable;
∎ Proven project, community and staff management skills with good track record;
∎ Excellent skills on training facilitation;
∎ Excellent in documentation;
∎ Good command on professional English and Bangla writing with computer literacy especially MS Office;
∎ Sound knowledge on community management,
∎ Water Act 2013 and local governance;
∎ Willingness to frequent field visit and stay in rural area;
∎ Must have valid motorcycle driving license.
Salary: Tk. 31400 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ T/A, Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Upon successful completion of six months probation period contributory provident fund, gratuity, 2.25 festival bonus, health insurance and Leave benefit will be applicable as per organisational policy.
