∎ Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or related fields (any Public University will get priority)
∎ Knowledge of the principles and practices of crop production, soil science, and plant nutrition
∎ Experience in conducting field trials and experiments, and using field instruments and equipment
∎ Proficiency in using data management and analysis software, such as MATLAB, R, Python, SPSS, Excel etc.
∎ Have to be able to work in any project area
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Ability to work in a team or individually and under pressure

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and implement field trials to test the effects of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies on crop growth, yield, and quality
∎ Monitor and evaluate the soil and plant health, nutrient status, and pest and disease resistance of crops treated with nanomaterials and nanotechnologies
∎ Recommend and demonstrate the optimal use of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for different crops and soils
∎ Train and educate farmers and other stakeholders on the benefits and risks of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in agriculture
∎ Collect and record data and feedback from farmers and other stakeholders & respective report writing
∎ Contribute to the development and improvement of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies for agriculture
∎ An Agronomist or Agriculturist is responsible for applying nanomaterials and nanotechnologies to enhance the productivity and sustainability of crops and soils. He also provides technical guidance and support to farmers and other stakeholders on the best practices of using nanomaterials and nanotechnologies in agriculture.
