• Knowledge of the principles and practices of crop production, soil science, and plant nutrition
• Experience in conducting field trials and experiments, and using field instruments and equipment
• Proficiency in using data management and analysis software, such as MATLAB, R, Python, SPSS, Excel etc.
• Have to be able to work in any project area
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team or individually and under pressure

• Regularly monitor insect populations in cereal and vegetable fields of BACIL (instructed by BACIL project management) over the time.
• Identify pest species and assess their impact on crop health.
• Develop and implement IPM strategies to control insect pests.
• Integrate biological, chemical, and cultural methods for sustainable pest management.
• To visit/ monitor research trial plots/areas to collect insect samples.
• Study for application in nanotechnology-based fertilizer development in Bangladesh through BACIL
• Record data on insect abundance, distribution, and behavior.
• Investigate how insects interact with different cereal and vegetable crops.
• Study feeding behavior, oviposition patterns, and damage caused by pests.
• Prepare detailed report for research trials.
• Prepare document of objectives, methods, and expected outcomes of the program and operation as and when required.
• Provide management reports on trial field of crop progress/ latest status.
• Collaborate with team members specially Agriculturists, Plant pathologists, Chemist, and other experts and works with them according to advice of BACIL project authority.
• Communicate findings through reports, presentations, and workshops from time to time.
• To carry on keep study between conventional fertilizer and Nano fertilizer application outcome on crop behavior and soil nutrient changeability specially of negative virus and insect impact on crops cultivation gamut management
• To train up field workers elementary knowledge and experience through reciprocal sharing and case study methods
