Responsibilities:
Review and develop process, policy/SOP & strategy of purchase and related function.
Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors.
Negotiation on contracts, terms and price with local key suppliers maintaining quality standards and timely delivery.
Monitoring vendor performance, conduct regular assessments and address any issues to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchase requirements and create procurement plans accordingly.
Analyze pricing trends to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Coordinate with internal departments, such as Finance and Operations to ensure proper budget allocation and alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
Establish robust internal controls to mitigate risks related to procurement activities, such as fraud, corruption, and conflicts of interest.
Improve procurement processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
Generate various reports.
Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.
Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
Identify areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results.
Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review.
future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
Teach and educate managers and associates about the procurement process control.
Any other related assignment given by the superior/management.
