Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Secure bulk material (fabric & yarn) quality as per H&M standards & requirements
∎ Ensure routines, methods and SOPs in production and quality are aligned with GPQ guideline
∎ Create awareness among production personnel about H&M products and quality
∎ Be an eye of H&M (act as H&M representative in front of factory personnel)
∎ Be the owner of materials producing for H&M at factory (act as the supplier’s key representative in front of H&M concerns)
∎ Ensure H&M receives the same what H&M pays for
∎ Ensure bulk reflects the sample (sample to bulk reproducibility)
∎ Perform GPQ audit (internal) periodically to ensure the system runs effectively and sustainably
∎ Participate in ‘Fabric Risk Assessment’ with sample and chemical responsible
∎ Communicate RA with product and QA team to ensure feasible bulk production
∎ Take FTD and ‘required specification’ handover from sample responsible at development or quotation sample stage
∎ Match C/S with approved FTD hanger and required spec
∎ Close monitor on lab dip development and approval to get accurate color/shade at sample & bulk
∎ Get sample processing data (SOP for bulk) from sample responsible
∎ Check sample fabric color/shade, aesthetic quality and physical (test) performance along with sample responsible
∎ Participate in pre-production (PP) meeting and share sample SOP with all production concerns
∎ Ensure raw materials (i.e. yarn, dyes-chemicals etc.) meet required quality level before starting bulk production
∎ Regular follow-up on production processes, methods & routines (as per GPQ guideline)
∎ Maintain the same sample SOP in bulk production to achieve sample to bulk (also FTD vs. bulk) and batch to batch consistency in shade and quality
∎ Match 1st bulk and subsequent bulk dye-lots with required spec, approved FTD hanger (for aesthetic quality) and c/s or original color standard for shade
∎ Validate test reports, inspection reports, GSM continuity, color continuity (meter to meter, roll to roll, batch to batch) and all other quality parameters prior delivery to cutting (follow the routine – collect data, review data and crosscheck/validate data)
∎ Provide a validation certificate based on quality checklist prior delivery which will act as a clearance for garmenting (cutting, RQS filing etc.)
∎ Coordinate with RQS team (specially for commercial shade approval or any major issue)
∎ Ensure finished materials (fabrics) that don’t meet H&M requirements & standards will not be delivered to cutting in anyway
∎ Maintain proper documentation of all production and quality data in both physical (hardcopy) and digital (computer database) way so that H&M concerns can validate when required.
∎ Provide H&M material team with ‘GPQ Bulk, Sample & Yarn Follow-up Reports’ on a monthly basis
∎ Involve/acknowledge H&M material specialist/MQC in major issues and maintain a transparent relationship with H&M

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Minimum 10-12 years of experience in any reputed Knit composite garments factory(s) out of which minimum 3 years as head of the department (GPQ)
∎ The applicants should have knowledge in the following areas: knit Pattern making for knit, Quality Control/Audit, basic on printing, embroidery, washing and dyeing
∎ Should have thorough knowledge about garment measurement & patterns
∎ Should have knowledge on all relevant task of GPQ
∎ Ability to make important decisions under pressure
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities
∎ Having good responding skill to invented office management with chain of command
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team of workers & staffs
∎ Good knowledge & skills in computing
∎ Complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good in planning and analytical skills
∎ Experience in fabric R&D dept. will add advantage
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali
