Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage end-to-end quality assurance and quality control functions of the factory.
Ensure implementation and monitoring of quality systems, SOPs, and inspection protocols.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, IE, Technical, and Planning teams to ensure right-first-time quality.
Oversee pre-production meetings, pilot runs, inline inspections, and final audits.
Monitor AQL standards, testing requirements, and shipment approvals.
Analyze quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare and present quality performance reports, dashboards, and MIS to management.
Lead, coach, and develop the quality team, including QA/QC managers, supervisors, and inspectors.
Ensure readiness for buyer audits, factory evaluations, and compliance inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
