Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in the field of public or mental health (such as psychology, psychotherapy, social studies, anthropology, sociology, etc)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Cox`s Bazar with visits to Teknaf and Ukhya
∎ Band: 4T
∎ Contract Duration: Up to 30 June 2022 (Possibility of extension until 30 June 2023)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience of working in MHPSS service provision in emergency or other settings, in areas such as: adolescent psychosocial support, community / youth led initiatives, group MHPSS approaches and individual problem counseling, work with parents & caregivers, child protection, gender-based violence.
∎ Significant experience in training and capacity building
∎ Experience in social research methodology, specifically research related to MHPSS, GBV and related topics is an advantage
∎ Knowledge and experience in using key tools and approaches, including the IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergencies
∎ Experience of promoting mainstreaming, quality and impact in cross-cutting areas such as gender, inclusion or participatory and community-led approaches
∎ 3-5 years of experience in international development cooperation with assignments that are thematically relevant; especially previous exposure to FDMN (Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals) / Rohingya refugee and host community issues and the related support context is a distinctive advantage.
∎ Previous job experience in GIZ will be an asset
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Fluency in English is essential
∎ Knowledge of German Language is an asset
∎ Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
