Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven work experience (2+ years preferred) as an Ads Specialist, PPC Specialist, or similar role, specifically within the e-commerce industry.
  • Platform Proficiency: Expertise in major advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads Manager) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex data and strategies to cross-functional teams and management.
  • E-commerce Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento is a strong plus.
  • Certifications: Google Ads and/or Meta Blueprint certifications are highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven E-commerce Ads Specialist to manage and optimize our paid advertising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major advertising platforms and a proven track record of driving measurable sales growth for online businesses. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our online visibility, attracting qualified traffic, and converting browsers into buyers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy and Management: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive paid advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Keyword and Market Research: Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences and market trends, ensuring ads reach the most relevant potential customers.
  • Ad Creative and Copywriting: Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy, visuals, and video content that resonates with the target audience and encourages action.
  • Budget Management and Bidding: Manage advertising budgets effectively to ensure optimal allocation of resources and maximize ROI. Implement and refine bidding strategies based on performance data.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, CPA, conversion rates, ROAS) on a daily/weekly basis. Use data-driven insights to perform A/B testing and continuously optimize campaigns for peak performance.
  • Conversion Tracking and Reporting: Set up and monitor conversion tracking through tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager. Provide regular, transparent reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Ensure ad traffic is directed to relevant, high-converting landing pages, collaborating with the web development/design team to optimize the user experience and conversion funnel.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, platform changes, and algorithm updates to ensure strategies remain effective and competitive.
