∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 3 years of experience in project implementation of project activities in the field level.
∎ Knowledge on ASRH, related intervention, life skill education and livelihood for young.
∎ Fluency in Bangla & English are required both orally and in writing.
∎ Competent and dedicated staff that can be reached for feedback.
∎ Excellent communication, networking and analytic writing skills.
∎ Capacity to work in a group and ability to work under pressure and meet the deadline.
∎ The applicant should have a brief knowledge and practice on child safeguarding, Gender responsiveness, environmental safeguarding and conflict transformative management.
∎ Able to drive motorbike with valid driving license.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Actively participate in identifying, communicating with different target group of actors as per the project plan.
∎ Actively work to form the community and school adolescent forum and maintain regular function.
∎ Support union level ASRH coordination committee and their function to improve ASRH in the area.
∎ Work with UH&FWC for identifying need and support the facilities for making it appropriate for providing adequate ASHR in the adolescent friendly corner.
∎ Maintain accurate compliance records and reports along with promote understanding of compliance responsibilities and expectations amongst team members.
∎ Implementation of different project interventions in the project area based on local suitability, sensitivity in coordination with UH&FWC, schools, local level authority of both health and family planning, local community, local government institute.
∎ Support implementation of DASCOH life skill and livelihood training centre as per the project planned specially for identifying the participants and training need.
∎ Ensure community and especially adolescent/youth engagement for participating in the project activities.
∎ Form the community volunteer group and maintain close communication with the community volunteer.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ DASCOH Foundation is a non-government and non-profitable organization. Utilizing local knowledge of the people at grass root and available resources at local level, DASCOH has put forward an alternative participatory development process. It has developed a professional workforce with flexible decision-making capacity. DASCOH is using supportive supervision & coaching method to develop human capital and thus helping to develop the capacity of local government institutions, which is reflected in the project planning and management with local government, private sector, donors and the community. Currently, it operates ten projects, covering the thematic areas of health, climate adaptation, human rights, quality education, livelihood improvement, etc. mainly covering Rajshahi division but all over the country. Several projects are ongoing in the thematic areas and information technology support are required for innovation, monitoring, analysis and showcasing good practices and achievements.
∎ DASCOH is seeking application from qualified individuals for the role for Adolescent Health Promoter (AHP) for its “Improving young people’s access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) through a community- based approach and cooperation with state institutions” (A-EMPOWER) project which aims to improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents in Rajshahi, Chapainawabgonj and Naogaon Districts of Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh in line with SDG 3.7 "Ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning, information and education, and mainstream reproductive health into national policies and programs.
∎ The incumbent will support the organization by implementing different activities in the community and school for field implementation of the project in coordination with the other program and organizational management, government stakeholders, donors, partners and other stakeholders. S/he will be responsible for ensuring the operational standard guideline and standards for implementation of activities. S/he will create a close relationship with community to developed platform inn community and in school as planned and support implanting activities for expected result.
