Experience:
MBA or Master’s in Public Administration / International Relations, or any other related discipline from reputed University.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a related field with exposure in bilateral/multilateral/INGO or corporate environment.
Administrative experience, preferably in Secretarial, Logistics and inventory service management.
Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work in a small team as team player and in a multi-cultural environment.
Capable of drafting letters and corresponding with high-level officials.
Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English but French notion is desirable.

AFD local office in Dhaka is hiring an Administrative and Logistics Officer.
The Administrative and Logistics Officer is placed under the authority of the Office Manager, to whom s/he directly reports. S/he collaborates with all staff members of the AFD Dhaka Office and interacts with AFD Regional Office in New Delhi and AFD’s Head Office in Paris. S/he abides by the rules and the professional ethics charter defined by AFD’s Head Office.
Main missions:
Under the supervision of the Office Manager/Admin Manager of AFD Dhaka Office, the Administrative and Logistics Staff will:
Welcome and receive guests/clients, receive phone calls/ letters, and transfer them to the appropriate person or desk.
Carry out secretarial tasks (“chrono”, mail and database management).
Organize missions and logistics.
Reception and front desk services:
Welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and transferring them to the concerned person/desk.
Managing the front office of AFD Dhaka Office.
