Education:
∎ MBA or Master's in Project Management / International Relations, or any other related discipline from reputed University.
∎ A degree in Climate Finance, Adaptation or related topic is a value-added.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 to 7 years of professional experience in a related field with exposure in bilateral / multilateral / INGO or corporate environment.
∎ Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
∎ Ability to work in a small team as team player and in a multi-cultural environment.
∎ Capable of drafting letters and corresponding with high-level officials.
∎ Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
∎ Fluent in English. French speaking candidates will be prioritized.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Under the supervision of the Head of Operations of AFD Dhaka Office, Climate Finance Project Officer will ensure the identification of projects, development and monitoring of the Climate Finance portfolio.
∎ Back up of the project officer on RMG-I Credit line project: follow up of audit and closure activities
∎ Prospect and identify operations on Climate Finance
∎ Participate in the appraisal, evaluation and formalization of RMG-2 project: follow up the feasibility study and coordinate stockholders
∎ Monitor project execution (including risk component): follow up Climate PBL and associated TA
∎ Participate in the facilitation of the project team in connection with the headquarters
∎ Organize and support the supervision missions of the local office or AFD Headquarters and attend technical meetings
∎ Prospection on Adaptation financing (local policies, AFD tools)
∎ To be confirmed: Prospection on non-sovereign loans
∎ Main missions:

∎ I- Participate in the facilitation, development and monitoring of operational activities related to Climate Finance
∎ 2- Contribute to the intellectual production of the agency and participate in the secretorial dialogue and its organization:
∎ 3- Ensure all external contacts in the context of these activities
