Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Statistics, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
∎ Postgraduate in Actuarial Science from abroad will be preferred
∎ Training/Trade Course: Actuarial Science

∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Actuarial Science, Actuary (Insurance), Life Insurance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Insurance

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage potential financial risks associated with life insurance policies.
∎ Gather and analyze statistical data to predict mortality and disability rates.
∎ Determine pricing and reserving for life insurance products
∎ Assess the financial stability of the life insurance company
∎ Develop and implement risk management strategies.
∎ Up-to-date knowledge on the latest industry regulations and standards.
∎ Develop life insurance products & system
∎ Providing actuarial calculations and figures for business communications
∎ Assist the Senior Actuary
∎ Producing and analyzing financial reporting figures
∎ Standardizing and improving existing processes to reduce costs and risks of the company.
∎ Supporting project-wise business activity, in the job location or on a client site, including standalone actuarial projects and multi-team projects, working alongside colleagues in Customer Services, IT, etc.,
∎ Preferred relevant work experience with a reputed Life Insurance Company.
∎ Proficient in statistical and data analysis skills.
∎ Practical familiarity with programming languages (e.g., R or Python) is advantageous.
∎ Sound financial operational understanding of life insurance, group insurance, health insurance, and insurance as a whole.
∎ Any professional qualification in Actuarial Data Science would be preferred.
∎ Strong presentation and reporting abilities.
∎ Open to new ideas, creative, and driven by goals.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidate must have excellence in MS Excel and other IT application

Salary: Negotiable
