∎ PORTWEST, Ireland a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of an Accounts Officer (Accounts Receivable) to be based in Cumilla Export Processing Zone, Bangladesh. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 4600 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130 countries. We design, manufacture, and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
∎ PORTWEST is looking to hire an Accounts Officer specialized in accounts receivable work to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years or more experience in Accounts Receivable related task.
∎ OFFICE TIME: 2.00pm to 10.00pm (follow the office time of Ireland)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Process daily bank receipts on large volume of customers
∎ Responsible for preparing Aged Debt reports
∎ Support timely month end close process
∎ Monthly Bank Reconciliations for Invoice discount facility
∎ Ad hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function
∎ Back up for other colleagues where necessary
∎ Work closely with Irish Finance teams
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent oral and written communication in English is must
∎ A minimum of three years of responsible accounting experience.
∎ A broad knowledge of accounting and financial control principles and their business applications
∎ Flexibility - willingness to help other colleagues to meet deadlines
∎ Ability to work as part of a multi-cultural team
∎ Multi-national experience is an advantage
∎ Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in performing accounting tasks.
∎ Strong Microsoft office skills, especially excel
