Job Context:
∎ Metal Plus Limited (MPL), a concern of METAL is engaged in Telecom Service Business. Since its inception, this company is successfully and very reputedly providing telecom service supports in BTS sites of renowned mobile operators of Bangladesh like- Grameenphone, Robi directly and through Huawei Technologies (BD) Ltd. and LM Ericson Bangladesh Ltd. Currently, MPL is operating in around 6000 BTS of Grameenphone. Besides, it is also marketing Eicher brand tractors, Eicher Engines powered diesel generators and Energy brand diesel generators and other Agri- machineries in Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for committed and result oriented candidates for the position of Zonal Manager, Telecom service.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Evaluate abnormal incidents and anticipate future incidents based on power or environmental alarm system.
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly preventive maintenance schedule and follow-up, execute the daily, weekly and monthly preventive/ corrective maintenance activities of the network equipment in relevant departments.
∎ Ensuring round the clock service support according to customer satisfaction.
∎ Have profound knowledge about TR/TT analysis/KPI/ SLA/ MTTR Calculation.
∎ Manage day to day activities on BTS's for Active maintenance and passive infrastructure.
∎ Coordinate with customer and answer queries and notify of faults history and ensure timely resolution
∎ Should have knowledge of all passive/ active equipment (DG/ IVS/ AC/ AVR/ Rectifier/DVS/PG/ Battery/Fiber) and their characteristics for the applicable work areas.
∎ Capable to efficiently manage the operation & maintenance related task.
∎ Evaluate, prepare, Assist and maintain OPEX on monthly basis.
∎ Supporting and managing sub-contractor works
∎ Regularly refueling plan for DG site and prepare daily activity report with Dashboard.
∎ Monitoring vendor key management and taking care EBC/M related issue.
∎ Regularly monitoring and control AG and PG fuel consumption.
∎ Should have knowledge about zonal expenditure budget with profit/loss and drive the business toward profitability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience of Zonal Manager/ Leader in above mention job will be preferred
∎ Expert knowledge of network infrastructure environment, power facilities operations & maintenance.
∎ Detailed understanding of BTS alarm handling and rectification.
∎ Coordinate in OPEX & CAPEX utilization & budget planning
∎ Experience in management of others vendors.
∎ Able to build up strong leadership and teamwork skills.
∎ Be able to work independently.
∎ Be prepared to work on a 24 x 7 recall roster.
∎ Open approach to solving problems and dealing with new proposals.
∎ Able to work as a member of a team and lead junior staff from time to time
∎ Problem solving & analytical ability.
