Experience:

• Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities with no third class or equivalent in any certification;

Qualifications & Other Competencies:

• At least 12 years of uninterrupted service experience in Branch Banking with at least 5 years as cluster head/zonal head in reputed commercial banks;
• Sound knowledge in Islamic Shariah based Banking;
• Strategic business planning with large customer base and strong recovery ability.

Zonal Head is responsible for achieving business targets, as well as managing and coordinating the officials within the branches under his jurisdiction. Additionally, the Zonal Head is responsible for monitoring and managing business risks, strengthening recovery and ensuring service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the branches under the jurisdiction of Zonal Office, towards attaining/delivering the annual business targets;

• Manage and coordinate officials within the branches to meet their individual and branch wise business targets;

• Monitor business and recovery reports and customer feedback to better assess the performance of the cluster;

• Developing and implementing strategies to optimize resources in order to improve the efficiency and productivity of the cluster as per set KPI;

• Overseeing and coordinating all operations of the branches and communicating to meet up their requirements;

• Ensure effective communication among stakeholders including branches, other zonal offices, and head office;

• Recommend business proposals to the competent authority;

• Monitor financial performance and budgets of the cluster and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for growth;

• Continuously monitor and follow up with clients on compliance issues and ensure business covenants;

• Perform any other tasks assigned by the competent authority of the bank.
