Qualifications & Other Competencies:
Graduation or Post-Graduation in Commerce/MBA/BBA from any UGC approved local or reputable foreign universities with no third class or equivalent in any certification.
At least 10 years of uninterrupted service experience in Branch Banking operation with at least 5 years as Branch Manager in reputed commercial banks.
Sound knowledge in Islamic Shariah based banking is preferable.
Strategic business planning with large customer base and strong recovery ability.
Corporate Designation may be relaxed for exceptionally deserving candidates.
To lead, manage, and develop the branch to achieve its business objectives in compliance with Islamic banking principles. The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, business growth, Shariah compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Achieve branch targets in financing, deposits, and other Islamic banking products.
Monitor performance of branch’s staff against key performance indicators (KPIs) and business targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, businesses, and the local community.
Identify new business opportunities and market the bank’s Islamic offerings.
Ensure that all branch operations and product offerings comply with Islamic banking principles.
Liaise with the Shariah Compliance department and implement approved guidelines.
Provide customer education on Islamic financial concepts.
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and secure branch functioning.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer transactions and adherence to internal policies.
Monitor and manage branch expenses within the approved budget.
Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and motivate branch staff to deliver business objectives and maintain Shariah values.
Conduct performance appraisals and provide training needs assessments.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and promote a productive and ethical work environment.
Resolve customer complaints efficiently and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, operational, and Shariah guidelines.
Monitor credit risk, operational risk, and reputational risk at the branch level.
Prepare and submit reports to higher management in a timely manner.
