• Steel window grill knowledge.
• Need to have experience to work in steel workshop.
• Steel shutter, design of MS gate.
• Need to have experience in steel structure fabrication.
• Need to do the budgeting and schedule of work.
• Most importantly need to have experience to run a workshop.
• Need to do BOQ estimation.
• Need to do conduct market research of the material.
• Need to do sourcing of the work labour.
• Need to show work experience certificate in the interview.
• Diagnose faults in machinery, or equipment.
• Perform or supervise repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance work.
• Ensure tools and machines are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Plan and organize workload for technicians and mechanics.
• Allocate tasks and ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Guide and support junior engineers or technicians.
• Review completed work to ensure it meets standards and specifications.
• Provide technical advice or troubleshooting support when needed.
• Monitor stock levels of tools, parts, and materials.
• Order spare parts and manage procurement efficiently.
• Maintain records of inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure all workshop operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform quality checks on repairs and services.
• Keep documentation for maintenance, repair records, and safety inspections.
• Discuss job scopes, repair timelines, and cost estimates with clients (if client-facing).
• Provide updates and technical explanations to customers or other departments.
• Train workshop staff on new equipment, tools, or safety protocols.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
