Job Context:
∎ Women`s Protection & Empowerment GBVIMS Data Clerk is responsible for expediting data collection and entry, while ensuring accuracy of data and submitting the same to the MEAL Officer for further compilation, analysis and reporting. The person will also ensure that data collection platforms are regularly monitored.

∎ Contract length: Up to January 31, 2020 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Reporting
∎ Support to contribute data on indicators into proposals and reports to donors
∎ Give inputs to generate internal reports for sector teams
∎ Administer questionnaires exactly as they are written in a consistent and accurate manner.
∎ Provide feedback and weekly reports to the supervisor
∎ Data Collection and Program Quality
∎ Under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer, work closely with the field Officer & the IRC GBV staff in managing the GBV Facility database
∎ With the support of the MEAL Officer, submit Weekly and monthly reports to the GBV Meal officer
∎ Cross-check the data with the registers for accuracy before submitting the reports
∎ Liaise with the various GBV service units (Girl Shine, GBV Case Management, etc.) to get accurate data in a timely manner
∎ Ensure that the GBV facility data is kept up to date at all times while liaising with the MEAL Officer in case of any errors identified.
∎ With support of MEAL officer, support the GBV Officer to monitor the project indicators against facility work plans
∎ Participate in assessments/surveys and routine collection of field data
∎ Develop and maintain an accurate filing system of project records
∎ Carry out data triangulation and validation at facility level and generate GBV tools' requirement on monthly bases and share the same with the MEAL Officer and GBV Officer
∎ Training
∎ Train others when called to train, especially on data entry
∎ Provide MEAL orientations to WPE program staff on MEAL basics, and mobile data collection tools (tablets and phones)
∎ Administrative Tasks
∎ Translation of tools, surveys, and other documents to/from English and Bangla
∎ Data entry
∎ Completing paperwork required for purchase requests
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 22 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word abilities
∎ Experience with or interest in mobile data collection (Kobo, CommCare, ODK)
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Experienced in data management software will be highly appreciated
∎ Written and spoken fluency in Bangla, English and Chittagonian
Salary: Tk. 36750 (Monthly)
