Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical assistance to IRC Partners on prevention and response to GBV and to strengthen GBV programming and coordination efforts in Host Community:
∎
∎ Assess gaps in GBV interventions and propose ways to improve
∎ Along with their counterpart at the Partners organization, represent the organization in GBV related coordination meetings
∎ Support in Develop detailed implementation plans, outreach and coordination plans
∎ Support to establish effective functionality of the referral pathways for GBV survivors
∎ Provide technical support strategic direction including quality advisory services for all GBV interventions:
∎
∎ Efficient support to tasks related to advocacy on prevention and response to GBV among women and girls
∎ Ensure coordination between Partner GBV programs and IRC Program
∎ Support in prompt implementation of GBV programming in humanitarian settings in accordance with the IASC Guidelines for GBV Interventions in Humanitarian Settings
∎ Support in implementation of established SOPs and related policies and practices in Cox's Bazar
∎ Capacity Building:
∎
∎ Provide mentorship to all Partner Case workers
∎ Provide on the job training to all case Worker workers including monitoring of case managers' work
∎ Lead in the dissemination of GBV SOP among caseworker
∎ Provide direct support to all case workers to ensure survivor center care; including case management, psychosocial support, referral and follow-up
∎ Case Management:
∎
∎ Oversee provision of appropriate specialized support and care for female adolescent survivors of GBV
∎ Conduct case conferences with Partner case managers
∎ Ensure proper availability of quality services for GBV, including SV survivors, Community support
∎ Develop and maintain strong working relationship with community leaders and community support structures in host community
∎ Support case workers on their routine community activities
∎ Support group activities in the community including understanding and maintaining effective referral pathways and monitoring community dialogue sessions by community discussant leads
∎ Support in reporting Monitoring and Reporting
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience in GBV programs for women and girls is essential; and experience in SRH is highly preferred
∎ Experience in program/project management
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience
∎ Experience in directly supporting women and girl who are survivors of male violence
∎ Practical experience in successfully leading, building and strengthening a program team of 3 + staff in a dynamic, challenging and changing context
∎ Demonstrated experience in supervising, mentoring and building capacity of staff
∎ Practical experience in facilitating practical workshops and learning on this issues outlined in the areas of responsibility for this position
∎ Deep understanding of the impact and dynamics of male violence against women and girls, and solid grounding in feminist, women and girl-centered, anti-oppressive practice
∎ Demonstrated coordination and relationship building skills with partners
∎ Strong ability to respect differences of culture, opinion and lived experiences while upholding rights-based principles and women's protection and empowerment
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills, positive and professional attitude, ability to lead and work well in a team setting and with multiple partners
∎ Strengths in listening, empathy, flexibility, and creativity
∎ Fluency in English Language is essential
