∎ Contract length: December 31, 2019 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Designing, Planning & Implementation of Strategies for Data Collection & Storage, Analysis & Sharing:
∎ Adhere to and dedicatedly promote the women, girl and survivor-centered support approach, and the GBV guiding principles
∎ Manage the Gender Based Violence Information Management System (GBVIMS) by ensuring accurate data entry into the incident recorder, clean up, storage and system maintenance including troubleshooting
∎ Train & offer needed support to GBV staff to correctly & effectively use GBVIMS tools (GBV Classification tool, consent form, intake form, incident recorder & ISP)
∎ Strengthen and maintain networks with other Protection partners by attending GBV and GBVIMS working group meetings to help analyze GBV trends, findings and standard methodologies
∎ Ensure all SGBV data (GBV survivor's data, NFI distribution data, persons reached in various activities) is AGD (Age, Gender and Diversity) disaggregated and safely stored
∎ Conduct data analysis and provide inputs, information and statistics for monthly, quarterly, annual and other reports to the GBVIMS Senior Manager
∎ Hold regular field supervision visits, offer mentorship sessions and monitor project progress
∎ Ensure clients information is securely collected, stored and only shared on the need to know basis
∎ Assist in the planning and implementation of GBVIMS+ trainings for staff
∎ Assist in the planning and implementation of GBVIMS+ on behalf of the program
∎ Identify and respond to case management needs and technical issues as identified during the provision of GBVIMS-related technical support
∎ Report Writing and Documentation:
∎ Compile and submit monthly SGBV to the Senior GBVIMS+ manager for sharing
∎ Assist in the preparation of the sector's operation plans/work plans & reviews
∎ Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience with at least 2 years of experience in implementing a GBV program in a humanitarian context
∎ Deep understanding of the Gender Based Violence guiding principles and what it means to provide a survivor-centered response
∎ Understanding of the steps of case management and the intersections with information management.
∎ Experience in supporting staff in GBV case management
∎ Experience of providing case management training will be a plus
∎ Experience in developing and facilitating workshops
∎ Experience in database development, usage and management
∎ Demonstrated capacity to analyze data/statistics for humanitarian operations
∎ Excellent Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Access and database software, including in depth knowledge of pivot table/chart and data analysis
∎ Deep understanding of browser-based applications, interfaces, workflows, role-based access
∎ Demonstrated organizational skills: the ability to work independently and productively, with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
∎ Flexible work attitude: the ability to work productively in a team environment and independently, and to handle requests or issues as they arise
∎ Candidate is required to be able to demonstrate a clear and genuine willingness to work and learn quickly and be committed to developing professionally in the field of GBV, in particular, supporting adolescent girls' protection and empowerment is essential
∎ Clear understanding of and interest in the well-being of adolescent girls
∎ Understanding of the impact and dynamics of men's violence against women and girls, and a strong interest in working on adolescent girls' protection and empowerment
∎ Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well
∎ Strong communication and facilitation skills
∎ Ability to write reports
∎ Excellent listening and observation skills, including ability to build trust, support, respect and interact with survivors of all ages, background and diversity
∎ Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect in Centers at all times is essential
∎ Demonstrated understanding of issues related to confidentiality, data safety/security and other ethical concerns related to the sharing on sensitive data between humanitarian agencies
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: the ability to successfully and effectively liaise with people in a wide range of functions in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Language spoken by population in need is essential Good working knowledge of English is preferable but not mandatory
