Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in HRM, Social Welfare, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, or any relevant discipline
2-5 years of experience in Welfare, HR, or Compliance in an export-oriented RMG factory.
Good knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, and buyer compliance requirements.

To promote workers' welfare, maintain harmonious industrial relations, handle grievances, conduct counseling and awareness programs, and ensure compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, buyer Code of Conduct (CoC), and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Workers' Welfare
Ensure the overall welfare of workers in accordance with Bangladesh Labour Act and company policy.
Visit production floors at least twice daily to identify worker concerns and compliance issues.
Provide counseling and motivation to workers to improve attendance, discipline, and productivity.
Support pregnant, injured, and vulnerable workers with appropriate assistance.
2. Grievance Handling
Receive, investigate, and resolve workers' complaints promptly.
Maintain grievance registers and ensure confidentiality.
Follow up on grievance resolution and report unresolved issues to management.
Maintain effective communication between workers and management.
3. Compliance & Labour Law
Ensure compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Act, Labour Rules, buyer requirements, and factory policies.
Monitor welfare-related compliance during internal and external audits.
Support corrective action plans following audit observations.
4. Committee Management
Coordinate and maintain documentation for:
Participation Committee (PC)
Safety Committee
Anti-Harassment Committee
Grievance Committee
Canteen Committee
Health & Safety Committee
Prepare meeting notices, attendance records, minutes, and follow-up action plans.
5. Training & Awareness
Conduct orientation training for newly recruited employees.
Conduct awareness sessions on:
Workers' rights
Health & Hygiene
Fire Safety
Occupational Safety
Anti-Harassment
Gender Equality
Child Labour Prevention
Forced Labour Prevention
Code of Conduct
6. Workplace Inspection
Conduct regular inspections of:
Production floors
Canteen
Toilets
Drinking water facilities
Childcare Centre
Rest areas
Medical Centre
Housekeeping and sanitation
Report observations and follow up on corrective actions.
7. Maternity & Female Worker Welfare
Ensure maternity benefits according to labour law.
Counsel pregnant workers.
Maintain maternity records.
Coordinate with the Medical Centre regarding maternity-related issues.
8. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain updated records of:
Grievances
Counseling
Floor Visit Reports
Training Records
Welfare Activities
Committee Meetings
Suggestion Box Register
Maternity Register
Welfare Inspection Reports
9. Coordination
Coordinate with HR, Compliance, Medical Centre, Production, Security, and Administration.
Assist buyer, customer, and third-party compliance audits.
Participate in compliance improvement initiatives.
10. Reporting
Prepare and submit:
Daily Welfare Report
Weekly Welfare Summary
Monthly Welfare Activities Report
Monthly Grievance Analysis
Corrective Action Follow-up Report
11. Other Responsibilities
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
