Responsibilities & Context:
Trend Analysis & Concept Development: Research global fashion trends, color palettes, yarns, and textures to develop seasonal sweater collections.
Product Development: Transform creative concepts into commercial products. Create detailed tech packs, flat sketches, and specification sheets.
Yarn & Gauge Expertise: Select appropriate yarn compositions, counts, and gauges (e.g., 3GG, 7GG, 12GG) suitable for specific designs and target price points.
Sample Execution: Collaborate closely with the sample room, technicians, and knitters to oversee the development of proto-samples, ensuring fit, stitch accuracy, and workmanship.
Stitch & Graphic Innovation: Develop innovative knit structures, jacquards, intarsias, cables, and embellishments.
