Experience:
B.Sc in Textile Engineering is highly Preferred.
Candidates must have a Science background in both SSC & HSC.
Minimum 10 years of experience in knit apparel merchandising with reputed export-oriented garment manufacturers or factory.
Proven experience in production follow-up, order execution, buyer handling, and team management.
Strong knowledge of knit garments, fabric, trims, sourcing, and garment manufacturing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in timely manner assigned by Sr. Manager.
Proven work experience with the following international brands is highly preferred: (One personnel for C&A & other one personnel for other buyers)
Strong knowledge of merchandising processes, buyer communication, sampling, costing, order execution, and follow-up.
Excellent negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good command of English (written & spoken).
Candidates with current or recent experience in similar roles in reputed knit composite factories will be given preference.
End-to-end merchandising of knit garment orders from order acquisition to shipment.
Coordinating with buyers, production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Handling sampling, approvals, costing, and price negotiations.
Monitoring production timelines, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
Managing buyer correspondence, comments, and revisions efficiently.
Conducting regular follow-ups to resolve issues and ensure on-time shipments.
Maintaining strong relationships with existing and new buyers.
Preparing and analyzing merchandising reports as required by management.
Lead and manage the production merchandising team to ensure smooth order execution.
Handle buyer communication from order confirmation to shipment.
Closely follow up production, planning, sourcing, and shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments including Commercial, IE, QA, Production, Planning, and Supply Chain.
Monitor Time & Action (T&A) calendar and identify potential risks.
Review costing, order feasibility, and capacity planning.
Resolve production and quality issues proactively.
Prepare merchandising reports and present business updates to Sr. Manager.
