Responsibilities & Context:

Review and resolve all design, welding procedure, and drawing-related issues by providing effective and compliant technical solutions.

Verify and interpret technical drawings and documentation in the Russian language to ensure full compliance with ASE standards and project specifications.

Prepare and maintain all technical documentation/solutions related to welding QA/QC, including WPS, PQR, and WQT, ensuring alignment with GOST and ASME Section IX requirements.

Prepare, review, and control QA/QC documentation such as WPS/WQT packages for subcontractors, technical correspondences, and formal letters to clients (ASE).

Prepare and submit periodic technical reports, statistical data, and safety notifications as required by ASE and project QA procedures.

Maintain all welding and NDT-related documentation traceable to specific weld joints, materials, and inspection activities in compliance with Russian nuclear QA documentation protocols.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Kerosene Leak Test, Vacuum Box Test, Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT). All should be conducted as per GOST and PNAE G-7 requirements.

Ensure that all NDT procedures, equipment calibration certificates, and operator qualifications meet   Russian nuclear standards and ASE approval criteria.

Witness, verify, and coordinate site inspections jointly with ASE inspectors and project QA representatives to ensure full compliance with project acceptance criteria.

Develop NDT and welding inspection schedules in coordination with the Construction, Planning, and Subcontractor teams.

Ensure that welding consumables, filler materials, and base materials comply with approved GOST certificates and storage/handling procedures.

Support ASE and internal audits, participate in root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to address non-conformances.
