Job Purpose :

A ward boy maintains cleanness of the patient cabins and wards; and oversees all the facilities needed by the patient in order to provide proper treatment under the guidance of hospital authority একজন ওয়ার্ড বয় রোগীর কেবিন এবং ওয়ার্ডের পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখে; এবং হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষের নির্দেশনায় যথাযথ চিকিৎসা প্রদানের জন্য রোগীর প্রয়োজনীয় সমস্ত সুবিধার তত্ত্বাবধান করে

Key Accountabilities:

• To present in Hospital before Ten Minutes of the usual duty time.

• Responsible for cleaning OT, Cabin, ward in hygienic way.

• Assist patient to go to doctor’s room, toilet, help them to take a bathe and change dress. রোগীকে ডাক্তারের রুমে, টয়লেটে যেতে সাহায্য করুন, তাদের স্নান করতে এবং পোশাক পরিবর্তন করতে সাহায্য করুন।

• Handover to another ward boy after the end of the shift and takeover before starting any shift.

• Change the bed sheets and organize patients` medicines and files.

• To check Generator fuel, Electricity Meter, and Reserve Tank of Water at the beginning of the duty.

• Monitoring Light & Fan for stopping unnecessarily switched on in the Hospital.

• Responsible for Providing handover of Cabin/Ward Furniture and other materials to indoor patients at the time of admission.

• To check Cabin/Ward furniture and other materials at the time of discharge of the indoor patients.

• Ensure the proper management of Operation Theatre before starting the operation.

• Responsible for transferring patients from OT room to observation room.

• Responsible for giving emergency support in critical situations.

• Any other task assigned by Hospital authority.
