Job Context
Halda Valley Tea Lounge are looking for a skilled Waiter/Waitress & Barista to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our guest. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Welcome and escort customers to their tables.
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked.
To provide all the facilities so that the guests coming to the lounge do not have any problem.
Offer menu recommendations upon request.
The tea or food of the guest`s order is given in front of the guest in a beautiful way and the guests are informed about the tea.
Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods and grinding, blending and brewing tea and serving items to customers.
Packaging food and beverage for sale.
Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a order slips.
Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.
Learning about brewing methods, tea blending techniques, food preparation and presentation techniques to improve food quality.
Upgrading displays and signage to attract customers.
Serve food and drink orders Gaining knowledge about different teas and practicing it regularly and selling displayed tea.
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
Collect bill payments from customer accurately.
Carry dirty plates, glasses to kitchen for cleaning If necessary, all emergency work must be done.
